Academic Unit (AU)
An academic unit in UNC. Allowable values are:
  • GU - Graduate & Undergraduate Credit
  • DN - Dental School (DDS Program)
  • LW - Law School (JD Program)
  • MD - Medical School (MD Program)

Career
Code for the student's primary career for the AU/TERM. Check allowable values here.

Certificate
Code for the Certificate field of study completed (for awarded degrees) or to be completed (for applied-for degrees) as part of the degree program. Check allowable values here.


Classification
Code for the classification of the student for the AU/TERM. The classification reflects the objectives of the student and the total number of hours earned/accepted for the student's primary career through this term. Check allowable values here.


CIP 4
The four-character code for the user defined CIP code suffix required for state reporting purposes.


Citizenship
Citizenship of the student. Check allowable values here.


Degree
Code for the degree or formal award conferred upon the student or for which degree application is made. Check allowable values here.


Enroll Status
Code indicating student's enrollment status for the AU/TERM. Allowable values:
  • B - NO REGISTRATION TRANSACTIONS EVER ENTERED FOR TERM.
  • E - ENROLLED IN REGULAR/AUDIT COURSES
  • N - NOT ENROLLED IN REGULAR/AUDIT COURSES
  • X - DISENROLLED/CANCELLED FROM REGULAR/AUDIT COURSES

Foreign
A code indicating whether or not the student is a foreign student. Allowable values:
  • N - NON-RESIDENT ALIEN
  • R - RESIDENT ALIEN
  • U - U.S. CITIZEN

Ethnic
Code indicating the student`s ethnic affiliation. Check allowable values here.


Major 1
The student's primary major 1 field of study for the AU/TERM. Check allowable values here.


Major 2
The student's primary major 2 field of study for the AU/TERM. Check allowable values here.


Minor
Code for the Minor field of study completed (for awarded degrees) or to be completed (for applied-for degrees) as part of the degree program. Check allowable values here.


Registration Type
The student's entry type for the term and student level. This code reflects the student's status for the term in relation to any previous postsecondary attendance experience at the same level. Allowable values:
  • CON - CONTINUING REGISTRATION
  • INT - INTRA-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER
  • NEW - NEW STUDENT
  • REA - READMIT
  • TRN - TRANSFER

Residency
The residency status of the student for the AU/TERM. Allowable values:
  • N - NON-RESIDENT
  • R - RESIDENT

School
The primary college in which student is classified for the AU/TERM. Check allowable values here.


Gender
The gender of the student. Allowable values:
  • blank - NOT SPECIFIED
  • F - FEMALE
  • M - MALE

Site Code
Code for the home site or site of classification of the student for this AU/TERM of enrollment. Student's courses for the AU/TERM may be offered exclusively by this site or in conjunction with other course sites or centers. Check allowable values here.
