Lounge Area Maintenance
|
UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR'S
OUR POLICY MEMO NO. 10 | Effective Date: September 1, 2000 |
Everyone is responsible for his or her own clean-up. Dirty dishes and spoiled food are a public health hazard, attracting insects and disease.
Old, spoiling food should be removed promptly from the refrigerator. Staff should check the food they have left in the refrigerator each Friday, and clean out spoiling food so that it is not left over the weekend. The stove, microwave, and toaster should be cleaned immediately after use by the persons using those appliances.
At the discretion of the University Registrar and Senior Advisory Team, repeated lack of concern in maintaining the cleanliness of the lounge could result in the loss of lounge privileges.
