Every regularly admitted student is required to have an official UNC Student ID Photo Card, which is the UNC One Card. The UNC One Card is used to obtain access to campus facilities and services such as the Library, Student Health Service, and Physical Education Department. It is also used as a Debit Card for meal plans, expense accounts, photocopy, laser printing, laundry, and some vending machines.
Students may now obtain a One Card plus, which is your regular UNC One Card plus a Wachovia check card all in one.
NEW STUDENTS
Students newly admitted should obtain a UNC One Card during their first semester. An official ID, such as license, passport, or military ID is required.
LOST UNC ONE CARDS
Continuing students who have lost their UNC One Card should go to the Card Office location for a replacement. There will be a $10.00 charge for replacement of lost or stolen cards. Picture ID is required.
REPLACEMENT FOR DAMAGED UNC ONE CARDS
Students with UNC One Cards who need a replacement because of damage or a name change should go to the Card Office location with their old UNC One Card. There will not be a replacement fee unless there is evidence of abuse. The fee will be $10.00 for replacing abused cards.
