What is the registration fees schedule?

How do I register for class at NCCU, UNCC, UNCG, Duke or NCSU for my program at UNC-Chapel Hill?

The Office of the Registrar provides several pages of information concerning the UNC-Chapel Hill Interinstitutional Policy.

I don't have my PIN to register. What do I do?

Consult Student Central. If your department has released your PIN to you, you can find it under the Registration Info option. If your PIN is not listed there, you must receive permission in order to obtain your PIN. Undergraduates should contact their dean's office or departmental advisor. Graduate and professional students should contact their department or Academic Advisor. Continuing Studies students should contact the Friday Center for Continuing Education.

I withdrew from UNC. How can I return?

You will need to reapply to the UNC through the appropriate admissions office. If you left UNC with a medical withdrawal, you also must be cleared by the Office of the Director of the Student Health Service.

How do I withdraw from the University?

How do I audit a class?

How do I drop a course after registration has closed?

Undergraduates contact your dean's office. Graduate and Professional students should contact their departments.

Will I be automatically added to a class for which I'm waitlisted if someone drops?

Students are automatically rolled into classes in which there are vacancies, based on the order in which they joined the waitlist, up until the Cashier's Office cancels early registrations for nonpayment of tuition and fees. At that point, waitlist rolls are distributed to departments for their own use.

I'm not a UNC student. How can I register for summer school courses?

Contact the Summer School Office at (919) 966-4364.

How can a former student enroll for a course?

Contact the Friday Center for Continuing Education at (919) 962-3000.

Will registering late affect my financial aid?

Contact the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid at (919) 962-8396.
