UPDATING AN ADVISOR APPROVAL FLAG IN FACULTY AND STAFF CENTRAL

Updating an advisor approval flag involves one web function in Faculty and Staff Central. The following procedures should help you complete this task.

Accessing the Advisor Approval Clearance Menu

  1. From the UNC home page, select "For Faculty and Staff".
  2. From "Faculty and Staff," select "Faculty Staff: SIS Access".
  3. Press the gray bar to login with ONYEN.
  4. Enter your ONYEN. Your ONYEN is your UNC email address (not alias) up to the @ symbol.
  5. Enter your password. This is the password you use to open your UNC email account.
  6. Press Continue. A security warning box will pop up.
  7. Press Continue on the security warning box. The screen will show you your Faculty/Staff Central menus.
  8. Locate the Advisor Approval Clearance Menu.
  9. Press Go.

Accessing a Student Record

  1. Enter student's PID.
  2. Press Submit.

  1. Select session for update (if multiple sessions available).
  2. Make update on drop down menu for session.
  3. Press Update.

You may close this application by quitting your web browser or you may use enter another PID to update flags for other students.
